With over 30 years of experience in the golf course industry, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge across a range of climatic conditions and soil types. For the past 17 years, he has worked on Melbourne’s renowned Sandbelt, serving as Assistant Superintendent at Commonwealth Golf Club before taking on the role of Superintendent at Cheltenham Golf Club.

Tom holds a Higher National Diploma in Golf Course Management from the UK, gained while working at prestigious clubs such as Walton Heath Golf Club and The Wisley, where he served as Course Foreman. His international experience also includes the construction and grow-in of a Jack Nicklaus-designed course in Italy.
Combining decades of hands-on experience with a strong academic foundation, Tom offers a deep understanding of turf management strategies. His practical insights are invaluable for turf professionals operating across a wide spectrum of budgets and staffing levels, helping them achieve optimal results under varying conditions.
