Gecko Cricket Pitch Cover System® covers concrete cricket pitches with a synthetic grass cover, infilled with sand and crumbed rubber to provide an impact attenuated surface, suitable for winter contact sports. This is an alternative to covering with loam and sod to make the pitch safe. It is cost-effecting, requires minimal maintenance and comes with a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. The Gecko Cricket Pitch Cover System® is fast becoming the standard for concrete pitch covering for the football season with over 400 covers in Vic and 80 in SA.
Gecko® Cricket Pitch Matting is a permanent 9mm pile synthetic surface for hard wicket cricket or practice cricket pitch facilities and meets Cricket Australia preferred facility guidelines. This system eliminates the need to drag out matting on competition day and has a 6 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Gecko® Interchange Surfacing is a synthetic grass alternative for difficult-to-mange, high wear, off-field areas such as, in front of coaches’ boxes, interchange areas, and vehicle access points to the sports ground. Similar to the Gecko Cricket Pitch Cover System® plus a constructed rubble base and shock pad underlay, which achieves clegg impact readings of 70 gravities.
