Matt Sampson Joins Living Turf as Sales Agronomist in South Australia

This appointment ensures that we will maintain elevated service levels to our SA clients, while allowing Shane Carman to dedicate more time to national key account management and business development activities.  As our State Manager for SA, Shane will continue his dual sales role in the Irrigation and Agronomy sectors.

Matt joins the business with over 17 years of hands-on horticulture and turf experience. His career began in Queensland with Technigro, where he worked as a spray technician before returning to South Australia to join the City of Unley. There, he served for 15 years as Senior Team Member and Head Oval Curator — a role that cemented his practical expertise in managing high-quality public sports turf.

During his time at Unley, Matt completed a Certificate III and Diploma in Horticulture, as well as a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management, underscoring his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Matt’s practical knowledge, local insight, and professionalism make him a valuable addition to the Living Turf team as we continue to grow our service capability across the state.
