Technical Sales Representative

Chris started his turf apprenticeship at Waikanae G C and took an opportunity to further his career and finish his apprenticeship at Otaki G C. While at Otaki, Chris honed his craft learning a wide range of skills including, course redevelopment, mechanical maintenance, and irrigation. On his overseas adventure Chris further enhanced his credentials as he worked in both Australia and the United Kingdom learning more about the horticulture sector and Sports field management. 

Returning home Chris secured the job of Parks and Recreation Supervisor at the Kapiti District Council. Managing 26 staff and dealing with large budgets Chris excelled building relationships with key stake holders, managing projects and improving council efficiencies. Having worked in the role for 15 years Chris developed an industry leading turf team that continues to service the Kapiti region today.
