SUSTAINgold / AQUAturf FORTE - water use efficiency

At MATCHplay we strive for innovation - and our two new products, SUSTAINgold and Aquaturf FORTE, provide just that in respect to innovating ways to save water.

When SUSTAINgold is washed into roots, soil will hold more water - for healthier plants with less irrigation.  To make sure SUSTAINgold is delivered effectively and evenly, we’ve also combined it with wetting agent in a product we call AQUAturf FORTE.

The visual signs of dry soil, is plant wilt – when you see that, the likelihood is that soil will be difficult to re-wet.  That’s where most water is wasted, getting uniform re-wetting fast and efficiently.

With these two products, more water molecules are held around every soil particle.  That means more available water without creating wet or boggy soils.  By increasing the efficiency of wetting around every soil particle SUSTAINgold and AQUAturf FORTE slow the drying process.  That means more time before you need to irrigate again – in fact independent laboratory tests show 40% more time.  That also means a more stable root zone environment with less extremes from dryness, so roots and soil microbes remain healthier.

Both products are available in liquid form for simple watering can application, or for larger areas use a spray unit and water straight after.  Where you have the capability to do so, both products are suitable for direct injection into irrigation.

For the ease of a dry application, Aquaturf FORTE is also available in a granular form and can be applied easily with a fertilizer spreader.  Being completely non toxic and safe to plants, this is safe to leave for the next rain or irrigation to wash it in. However because water is needed to move the active ingredients into the soil, watering soon after application is preferable.
